From early years the road network across England has been the lifeline of industry and public transport, from horse drawn, steam, diesel, petrol, electric and gas right up to today. All this change in 100 years - and we will celebrate all the eras that our transport has been in use from 1900 to 2000. |

We started with horse drawn vehicles from cabs and private carriages to milk floats and heavy horses pulling large wagons on farms and in industry. Roads were in a poor state in rural areas made of just dirt, becoming so bad in winter that most were unusable. Then came the steam engines, first pulled by horses and then self driven. Roads were improved and most were made with traction engines and steam rollers using crushed stone, followed by tarmac. Other types of transport then evolved. Steam moved over to diesel and petrol. Ever-improving types of cars, lorries, buses and military vehicles superseded each other as did motorcycles through to sidecars and three wheelers. |

This event will chart just how vehicles have changed. You are invited to help by entering your wheeled treasure, from horse drawn, to steam engines, cars, lorries, motorcycles, tractors, buses - anything in fact between 1900 to today. Non-running, old wrecks, modern classic, street cars, modified, vintage, supercars, American, hotrods - we want the lot! It does not have to be a super restored vehicle. Whether representing farm, public, military, or domestic transport you will be welcome. Download a form today and send it to us. There are no charges for entries and camping for exhibitors is free. Vehicle clubs are also welcome to have a stand. |

We hope you will enjoy this revival of historic wheels and help make this a great show in the South East. |
